Après avoir été pendant 10 ans chanteuse leader du groupe de rock expérimental Electrelane, Verity Susman explore un nouveau territoire avec un projet solo inédit. A travers sa musique et ses textes, ses concerts emmènent le public à la découverte d’un monde psychédélique démentiel. Verity donne à son saxophone des allures d’organe sexuel, plaçant le public face à une étrange masculinité féminine à la fois drôle et troublante. Parfois ironique et souvent passionnée, Verity nous entraîne dans un univers sonore expérimental entre “romans d’amours lesbiennes” et science-fiction.

Pour les berlinois de Kool Thing, la chose la plus importante dans la création de leurs morceaux est ce sentiment d’évasion, quelque chose hors de la réalité, ce besoin d’abandon.

Leur musique sonne comme une réminiscence de la jeunesse. Le dernier album de Kool Thing est une juxtaposition d’artifices et de nature zen dans lesquels se trouve une histoire d’amour dramatique.
