Après xx et Coexist, The xx révèle aujourd’hui la sortie de leur troisième album I See You le 13 janvier 2017 sur le label Young Turks. Ce nouvel album ouvre un nouveau chapitre pour Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim et Jamie Smith.
Alors que leurs deux premiers albums ont vu le jour dans des conditions assez isolées à Londres, I See You a été enregistré entre mars 2014 et août 2016 entre New York, Marfa TX, Reykjavik, Los Angeles et Londres. Une manière plus ouverte et libératrice de composer et d’enregistrer pour le trio.
Produit par Jamie et Rodaidh McDonald, I See You est leur album le plus audacieux.
