Formé à Berlin il y a plus de 15 ans, The Notwist officie dans un registre electro folk envoûtant. A l’instar de Console ou Lali Puna, The Notwist vient de la ville allemande Weilheim.
Leur cinquième album Neon Golden les a un peu sorti de leur discrétion. S’ils naviguent dans une electro pop, cela ne les empêche pas de s’investir dans des projets parallèles de hip hop alternatif comme 13 & God.
La voix singulière du chanteur est immédiatement reconnaissable et se pose sur des orchestrations variées que l’on retrouve sur le dernier album paru actuellement «The Devil, You + Me».
