Derrière Gold Panda (UK) se cache Derwin, jeune londonien bidouilleur, dj et producteur électro.

Auteur de plusieurs EP (Before, Miyamae ou encore Quitter’s Raga), il a également réalisé plusieurs remixes, notamment pour Bloc Party ou Health. Son premier album Luckyshiner, sorti fin 2010, le confirme en tête de file de la scène électro. Sa musique, entre balades oniriques, mélodies mélancoliques, harmonies vocales, et influences asiatiques, lui vaut souvent d’être comparé à Four Tet.

En 2013, GOLD PANDA sort son deuxième album « Half Of Where You live » toujours chez Ghostly International.
