Anoushka Shankar présente l’œuvre de sa toute dernière aventure musicale : Traveller. Et c’est le 8 novembre 2011 à la Cigale.

Le projet est né d’une idée : retracer le lien millénaire entre les musiques indienne et espagnole, celui du voyage des populations du Rajasthan venues s’installer en Espagne.

Elle a appris la musique aux côtés de son père, le légendaire sitariste Ravi Shankar, et sera accompagnée par des musiciens flamenco et indiens exceptionnels, aux percussions, au shehnai et à la guitare flamenco.
