Quelques moi seulement après son passage à la Salle Pleyel, Brad Mehlday y revient, cette fois avec Kevin Hays.

Ils alterneront leurs compositions personnelles, des arrangements de Steve Reich, Philip Glass et Ornette Coleman, et des compositions du jeune compositeur et arrangeur Patrick Zimmerli. Du jazz et au-delà.

Alliant à merveille jazz et inspirations plus classiques, la musique de Brad Mehldau est vraiment reconnaissable, sans fioritures et laissant aussi place aux silences. Il viendra présenter son dernier album, Where Do You Start, paru en septembre, quelques mois seulement après Ode.
